the one thing that irks me is people treating sasaki like he’s kaneki. people tag sasaki or kaneki as kaneki or sasaki, and sasaki ships as also kaneki ships. yes, sasaki resides in kaneki's body, but we’ve all seen that sasaki is very much his own person.
even if it’s forced, sasaki seems to be an alternate identity of kaneki. even if we ignore that fact, at least treat the two of them as different people, because they are.
